About me

My name is Gudmundur Bjarki Halldorsson and I live in Akranes, Iceland. I have a B.Sc. degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (Lífeindafræðingur, Bioanalytiker) and I work in Akranes Hospital - SHA
I´m married with four children. Just got my first SLR camera (Canon Digital Rebel XT - EOS 350D) back in may 2007 and became totally addicted to photography. To begin with I only had the kit lens Canon EF-S 18-55mm, but I felt the zoom range was not good enough, so I bought a Sigma 18-200mm lens and it´s absolutely amazing....I love it. Would like a 400mm or 500mm Sigma as well to get close-up pictures of birds, since I´m a big bird fan.
